One year warranty.. but you can double it with your VISA card extended warranty if you register it with your CC company. I've used this several times. For me, they just issued a refund to my credit card for most electronics items that fail.

You can, but reds are supposed to be better than blues, and for $50 less a drive which adds up. These are also NEW, not refurbished.

man, even at $170 it's a tempting deal, but 1yr warranty = pass.

If I was running a full cloud backups, raid 6, or something with more fault tolerance, I'd probably bite, but with all my stuff being raid 5 or simply mirrored along with minimal off-site backup, reliability is king.
