Ok I have the Netgear 802.11g router and PCI card.

I bought a Terk AM/FM powered antenna because my signal strength always sucks and I'm sick of losing my connection for a few seconds occassionaly.

Problem is there is no way to connect the two, they have different connectors. What do I do?

It won't work. AM works on 500-1000KHz (thousand cycles per second), FM works on 70-115MHz (million cycles per second), and 802.11b and g work on 2.4GHz (billion cycles per second). The amp just won't support those frequencies, let alone the antenna.

Not sure what your talking about when you say powered antenna. You can get mid to high gain omni's or directionals from any number of online sites, or build your own "cantenna" if your budget conscious and willing. fabcorp.com and hdlink.com are a couple of decent websites that sell 2.4 Ghz antennas. Forget about TV, FM/AM radio equipment. This is higher up the band, 2.4 Ghz.

FM = 88 - 108 MHz

Most TV nowadays is much higher, going from about there to around 650MHz.

802.11b ranges from 2400MHz to 2450-ish (I don't know off the top of my head)

An amp designed for one frequency isn't going to work so well for another. www.fab-corp.com has a ton of stuff to get you going.

I would first look into AP and antenna placement before you spend a dime.
