I've got two seperate Raid 1 arrays (drives D and E).
Both are dynamic disks, and NTFS, users and permissions, etc are all set up the same...
But as I access one of the drives off the network (mapped with correct user name), I can see the files but get a warning they are "write protected"
Anyone else run into this? I'm pulling out my hair trying to figure out what isn't set up right...I'm convinced it's user related but everything seems "correct"
UPDATE: The secret is in MANAGING....ditched the current shares and defined new ones making sure to propagate child objects.
