I'm not exactly sure if this is the correct forum for this issue, but anyway, here goes:
I have a server running Windows Server Standard 2003. I've been getting notifications that the D: drive is running low on space.
Explorer reports that 2.95GB of a 40.68GB partition are free, but if i run Total Commander (windows explorer replacement) its saying I'm only using about 20GB of the 40. Also, if I open D: in explorer and select all (Hidden files and protected system files ARE being shown) and then check the size there, it also says that it is only about 20GB.
The drive is formatted NTFS.
Any idea's as to why it's reporting almost 18GB more used than is really used?
