I have a Thinkpad T410, which yesterday I noticed wasn't going to sleep when on battery. I opened up the power options, and found that instead of showing two columns of settings (one for battery, one for AC power), it only showed the one. My google-fu failed me, so I'm turning to the experts here.

Why would my laptop suddenly decide to only have one set of power options? Is there a way to force it to show both? I've tried restoring to a time when it *did* work, but that did not fix it.

Nope, this is an admin account. The only thing I've been able to find is "do a system restore." Which I may end up doing eventually--Windows has developed a few quirks which I can't seem to expunge. Things like explorer.exe taking 20% CPU when it's on battery.
