I understand it is 19" and can only display 1440x900 physical pixels. But the FP222WH is known to accept 1080p and scale down to its native resolution of 1680x1050. Yes I know that's actually stretched from 16:9 to 16:10, but it's not that noticeable. This downscale from 1080p (1920x1080) to the native monitor resolution actually looks much much better than displaying 720p (1280x720) on the 22" BenQ's native 1680x1050.
See comparisons below. As you can see, the 1080p downscale looks much better than the 720p upscale. I do not see the need for pay $100 for the extra size benefit from 19" to 22". I'm only interested in being able to play downscaled 1080p PS3 games.
So does anybody know if the FP94VW accept and downscale 1080p over HDMI like the FP222WH can?
