Will I notice a difference running 8GB from 4GB ddr3?

Case: Antec Three Hundred Mini Tower Gaming Case
Power Supply: Corsair Builder Series CMPSU-500CX 500W ATX Power Supply
Keyboard: Logitech Illuminated Keyboard
Mouse: Logitech MX518
Memory: 4GB DDR3
Operating System: Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 (64-bit)
Monitor: Acer S211HL bid, 21.5" Thin LED Widescreen Monitor, 1920x1080, 5ms, 12,000,000:1 (DCR), DVI and HDM

I work on web design, web browsing, watch videos and play games. Will I notice a speed boost if I get 8GB?

If you're a heavy multitasker, yes.

I didn't notice a difference, except that boot is slightly slower. Seems like it takes Windows a bit longer to detect and test it.

In my case it cost $10 to upgrade once I sold my old memory, and I didn't expect to see much of a difference, so I'm happy to be set in the memory department probably until DDR4 hits.
