Will a Radeon 4750 be able to crossfire with a 4850?

The 4750 is anticipated to be about $100, and will have about the same performance as a 4850. Will I be able to crossfire this with my existing 4850?

The 4xxx series is a family. You should theoretically be able to crossfire any two cards that have a model number starting with a "4". Some very low end or OEM cards might not have crossfire connectors, but I don't know.

its not that it clocks down, it just sits idle while it waits for the slower card to process its frame.
