Which one has nicer and calmer picture that won't blind me in many-hours-a-day sessions? Nice contrast at low brightness etc...

its hard to say you need to find a person who has had both that can give an honest opinion. But these types of things can be different from person to person best bet is to see your local pc shop / bestbuy/circuit city and see if there is any you can look at.
