I'd search for it, but I don't know what it's called.

I am planning to build my own rack for a rackmount case, 2 switches, and a router.

Also, if anyone knows of accessories for what I am planning to build... such as wheels, handles, panels, cable guides, etc... please post them.

What you're looking for is a aluminum extrustion product widely known as 80/20. It is made by 80/20 Inc, and can be found at their ebay store along with the fasteners and accessories for it. I did a lot of work with it this summer, it's great stuff. For panelling, anything 1/4" thick will fit into the middle slot. Just make sure you cut it to the exact dimensions you want, or it will be a pain to put together, or fall out. It's good an strong once it's in there though. If you can do a little bit of fabrication, I'd suggest making your own corner joints, like this:

Cheers.

It's aluminum, so it's pretty soft. Get a bimetal blade for your miter saw and it will work great. Don't forget hearing protection.

I wonder how well copper pipe would work? I mean, you could just bend it with a tubing bender, or buy pre-made joints. Use T's wherever cross braces needed to be. Then when done, just solder it all together. Clean it real good, and paint it, or leave it bare.

But how easy does this stuff cut? Would I use a miter saw, if so is it a clean cut? Thanks

Very easy to cut...not too long to sand evenly.
