where is the recycle bin?

So i turned off "show desktop icons" (on win xp pro), cause i dont want any icons. Now my question is, where is the recyle bin, so i can empty the stuff i delete without enabling the icons...

definitely c:\, sometimes on other drives, too.

hold down shift when you delete things and it won't go to the recycle bin in the first place... or just set things to delete straight up...

that would work until you got delete happy and accidently deleted something you want or need

I always use (windows key)-e to view explorer, and the recycle bin is at the bottom.

Could always set the recycle bin to just delete it and not place it in the recycle bin. Check the properties of it.

It's also in Windows Explorer, if you scroll down on the drive viewing bar. You can make a shortcut from there if you want back to the desktop.
