What's the difference btwn. Asus ProArt RTX 4060Ti OC vs. ROG Strix GeForce RTX™ 4060 Ti OC

the cooler on the strix is 0.6 slots wider. could be differences in the layout / components on the PCB.

so besides width, all the features are the same. If it takes up more than 3 slot on the expensive one, might as well keep it under 3 slot and save $40

Might as well save up a few more $$ and buy a 4070 and not regret poor life decisions. That top priced card is disgusting high, like the whole 4060ti line as a whole.
But something tells me you have special reasons Happy Hopping. No?

+1 on this. The higher end builds do often have some level of improvement on things like the cooler, but they’re often so close in price to a base model of the next tier up, that you’re better off just doing that.

Also, the 4060 Ti is junk anyway, so this advice is doubly relevant here.

The ProArt is designed for workstation builds, the Strix is a flagship gaming card with a ludicrously large cooler "because you can" (if you're doing a showcase build the lower-end Strixes let you get a lot of bling for a good price). There's no reason why a 160W card needs a 3-slot cooler, but the taller fins don't cost much more and everyone else does it (plus it keeps Nvidia happy by preventing datacenter use).

You shouldn't pick between to the two based on price, it's more a matter of styling.
