My motherboard's a piece of crap and is severely unstable even running these at their rated speeds. When I get my vnf3-250 tomorrow, what kind of speeds should I expect out of these? Part name as best I can remember is Corsair XMS 3200LLPT, rated for 2-3-2-6 on amd systems and 2-2-2-6 on intel.

i'd assume they'd run at their designed speed of 2-3-2-6, but you may have to up the voltage a bit to get it there. The LL series is known for wanting lots of voltage, as well as being a bit unstable here and there. But either way, it's really good ram.

Is it the same LL listed on corsairs website? or the older 2-2-2-5 model?

LL 1.1 will overclock like mad if you give it enough voltage. at 2.85 ive gotten 3200ll 1.1 to do 250 @ 2-2-2-5. if its 1.2 or later you wont get anywhere near as good of an OC.
