very nice! i hope this is a sign of things to come...hoping for a 1.5tb for $100...
 
I would definitely buy 1 or 2 if my money weren't already going towards an external. Maybe I could use a bit more of my tax return =P
 
i put one of these in a customer computer. great drive for the money. i know it doesnt mean much, but the vista rating was 5.8.
 
In the title of the Newegg page...

What does "5400 to 7200 RPM" mean? It does both to save power?

I thought he was referring to the overall score. If not, then yes, it's due to the hard drive.

yes....it will vary the RPM as I understand it.
But, I have also read that its a fixed RPM , somewhere between 5400 and 7200...so I'm not sure which is true..:)
 
yes i was referring to the hd score overall was only like 5.2....wanted a cheap pc
