$227 @ newegg...

It uses shadow mask instead of aperture grill, but from what I understand that gives you sharper truer colors, but less vibrancy...

Also, it generall had good ratings, and what made me buy it was the 1280x1024 @ 90hz, and the viewsonic name..

I was looking at tons, including NEC, which some complained had blurry text (who knows how accurate that was)...

Anyway, if it sucks, I'll just RMA :)

Viewsonic make good monitors. NEC and Viewsonic are my favorites. As far as aperture grill and shadow mask technologies goes thats all up to the end user where it bothers you or not. Different people see different things. Some people notice ghosting on LCD's and others dont. Just try it out and see if you like it and if you dont RMA it for something else :).

I had the black version and I sold it because it was giving me headaches, even at 100MHz refresh rates on 768 x 1024 resolution.

The person I sold it to, however, loves it.

The G90F+ would be my second choice for a CRT monitor, behind the NEC FP912/Mitsu DP930.
