weird multi monitor problem

Hi

I have a Dell I8500 notebook with a 64MB NV28 video card. Main panel is native 1920x1200 and I am also running an external 1280 x 1024 19" flat panel. Problem as follows. When running Winamp with the mikdrop visualisation in a window on the main notebook screen CPU usage is around 30%. However, if I move mildrop to the external panel CPU usage goes to 100% and it runs krappy. Any thoughts?

Milkdrop uses hardware acceleration. When you move it to the secondary monitor it is no longer being acclerated.


Try moving Winamp to the secondary monitor and THEN start Milkdrop...
