WD 8TB Easystores are Back for 150$

Mine plugged right into the sata power on a 10 year old PSU, no need for tape or any adapters.

It varies, some PSU work others don't, same goes for enclosures/NAS units.
Most of the recent models work just fine though, theres a list on reddit about it (link earlier in the post).

I see, from what I was reading earlier it seemed to be more wide spread. THe reddit link was very helpful though thanks.

Yeah its at least a list of ones people have tried that helps if you have one of the ones on the list.
