From reading the IGN review, only slightly. It is basically a port of the PSP version, except with a slightly higher framrate, greater draw distance, and more AI characters on screen.

The only real change made has been the removal of multiplayer mode.

Release date is 6/7/06, so I think it should be available Wednesday, right? Or do they consider after 5pm on Tuesday to be the next business day, and sell it early?

It's out tommorrow, after 5pm (not sure why the specifics). You could always try early in the day as some my put it out.

Checked in store with the local CC and they didn't show any in stock, but it was already in their system. I will try again tomorrow evening.

Is this a continuation of Vice City or is it a whole new game?

Never followed the PSP version as I dont have one of those.

Didnt care for San Andreas but had a blast with Vice City.

It's more of a prequel to GTA3.

If that is what bothered you, yes, you play the white guy in this game. (I don't see where it makes a difference, but I know some people hated GTA:SA specifically for that reason)
