I'm wanting to build a socket 1155 system once sandy bridge is released, and I think it might be a good idea to pick up a dual channel ddr3 kit right now, considering all of the holiday deals going on.
The only thing I know about the new soket is that it's dual channel, takes ddr3, and had a max frequency somewhere above 2000mhz.
Does anyone know anything I don't? Is there anything in particular I should look for? What are some recommended bang for the buck kits? My current pc uses corsair xms2, and I'm not impressed at all, so I'd like to stay away from them. I plan on using the rig for gaming, and media, so I imagine 4gigs should be enough (it's been plenty on my current machine).
