Simple enough question.

If money was not an issue - what's the best heatsink out there?

Also, all I have is a tube of AS2 - is there any new compound that is the best?

Thermalright SP-97 and a good fan (loud or quiet, your choice)

and get some artic silver 5

Concur w/SP-97 and panaflo. Another possible is Zalman CNPS 7000A/AlCu. BTW, is this for AMD or Intel? (SP-94 for P4)

Aero 7 is AMD, the aero 4 is p4

Yes AMD, for a Barton 2500+.

Hey, what's this I hear about "ceramique" being the best out there? I thought Artic Silver was king?

edit: What kind of fan is the best without making me go deaf? :)

Cremuque is best when you first apply it, and it doesn't conduct electricity. But as5 will get lower temps after it sets and cures.

For a fan I would get a panaflo.

Zalman CNPS 7000A/AlCu has integrated fan. For Thermalright, try Panaflo 80mm or 92mm (2CoolTek and Sidewinder have panaflo with RPM monitor).
