System powers up, no video. All fans seem to be woking fine. Getting a single beep every 5 seconds. There was NO beep when I removed the CPU.

Removed ram (still beeping)
Unplugged HD (still beeping)
Reseated CPU and power (still beeping)

Chaintech VNF3-250

BFG 6800 OC
2x 512 Corsair Value Select PC3200 RAM
Aspire ATX AS520W 520 watt power supply

Any ideas are appreciated.

make sure the 4 pin 12 volt cord is going in right it is suppesed to face down I missed out on that fact for two days :p

After several hours of drinking and cursing, I got fed up enough to take everything out of the case, set the mb up on an antistatic bag and start plugging things in one by one. It worked immediately and continued working through three card installs. So it put it back in the case, where it runs wonderfully, smoking up Doom 3 @ 1280x1024, high quality just as smooth as glass.

Apparently something was shorting out the mb, and when it went back in it worked like a charm with nary a problem.

I've had this happen to me once before on an old 486-66 @ VLB video card install. It just goes to show you that old lessons still come in handy. ;)
