Basically when I am working with a guest in its console window and return to the host vmware webpage the page grays out and locks up my browser completely, can't do anything but close it. The guest console window is unable to be resized when this happens but I can continue working with the guest.

Ideas anyone?

VMware Server 2. Using latest firefox and I have java on the computer. This is a new vista x64 install for the host.

I got this but don't see anything helpful;

Download the Virtual Infrastructure Client. I can't find a link at the moment.

VIC is much better than the web interface, I couldn't stand when they changed over to it...

yipe. Yeah, web interface is bad.

From the page you'd log into the web interface you'll see a dl link for the client - your ESX machine has it onboard. :)

I checked around a bit and I didn't see this available free? I am using the free VMware server 2.

On the other hand it appears that the thing runs fine under IE7 so that's my temp fix. Funny this all had no problem under XP, was great.

Oh and the real kicker is I now have that problem where networking between the guest and host is very slow, so slow it is faster to download things from the internet than to grab them from a shared folder. I am using bridged networking, already put in a little research which looks hopeful.
