I know Vista uses memory to preload with programs that are commonly used by you, and that space is determined buy the amount of ram you have. but jebus. So here is the story I have just upgraded my system (motherboard, cpu and ram) and my ram is 8GB. right now day 2 my system is using 1.72GB of ram. I am not complaining. I have the ram for it now, but wow, just to think I was running on 2GB and Vista would work around that.

Anyways it's good to have the memory not only just got the OS but for anything I give it.

SuperFetch use all available RAM because its best to use as much RAM as possible and if user need RAM for somethig else it will give up as much RAM as you need in fraction of second.
