Ventrilo + DoD conflict

Okay, so I recently started playing DoD and was going to use vent to play with my friends. If I start up Vent first, my DoD ingame voice is all choppy and if I start up DoD first my Vent is all choppy. I had the same problem with CS, but I found out if I start up Vent first, before CS, then they both work fine. I've tried changing the processes to High for both, DoD, and Vent, yet nothing seems to help. I've tried Directsound, as well as Wave as well.

I'm on a SBA ZS2, 1gb of ram and a barton 2800 OCed to 2.4.
