My wife has been using her chromebook charger on her Samsung S21. The charger is 45 watts I think but I don't know if it is USB PD PPS and was wondering if using it could hurt the battery. The Chromebook was from 2021 and is a Lenovo Ideapad Flex 3 if that makes a difference. Thanks

use a CB charger(45w) to charge my lumia all the time. its much faster but no idea if its a prob, dont think it is as phones are intelligent enough. google says its safe....

Both the chargers & the phones of today are called "smart" devices, as in they will only push/pull the necessary amount of juice to charge the battery and/or run the device (if you're doing both at once)....so you can use a 100W charger to charge a 45W device and it won't make much difference, and although reversing that equation still won't hurt anything, it will just take longer to reach a 100%..
