Hello all,

I acquired a SSD (OCZ Agility 3 240GB) from a member and he said it ran for no more than 800 hours.

I've been trying to trade it for a good week or so and a different member did some research on my purchase and said that it was a lot of hours on a drive and, in my opinion, hinted that it was worth less than my asking price (my WTT thread).

What constitutes "a lot" of hours? When I looked up what should be the normal amount of service hours I can expect out of it, OCZ's site said 2 million. Maybe the drive might not get that much, but is 800 really that much?

Thanks all for your opinions on this.

800hrs is NOT a lot of hours.

Calculate that yourself into days :p and then realize a LOT leave their systems on 24/7. I have numerous older Intel G2 that have been running over 2 years fine.

Yeah, 800 hours is nothing. The SSD in my laptop has almost 20,000 hours on it. I would be more concerned about it being OCZ than the hours anyway :D
