Trouble with 5.1 on AN50r

Im using integrated audio (nforce audio) with Klipsch Promedia 5.1's. Right now, the green to green is hooked up, and i have 2.1, but when i do black to black, the other speakers arent working, and the last one (pink) i thought was microphone? im having trouble hooking this stuff up? I have no clue about audio. If needed i will go fetch an old sound card out of the bin.
 
Does someone need to suggest reading the manual or did you figure that out on your own? :p
