I got all my friends music from his powerbook, it's on my iPod, and I need to know how to transfer that music to my powerbook, iTunes recognises it and all it's music, I just don't seem to have the option of transfering it into my library. Any suggestions? Thanks

Transfering songs from iPod

From what i understand, iTunes will only transfer music TO the iPod to prevent this very type of thing. Now, let's say you wanted to format your lappy and start over, you back your music up on your iPod, and everthing else to a DVD. Once you reinstall you wanna dump it back on your lappy. iTunes won't work. From what I understand, you need something along the lines of ePhod. Third party that allows you to copy songs back to the lappy.
Keep in mind, I don't have an iPod, so I've never done this myself.
