I have 2 WD 6400AAKS drives and a 1.5TB Seagate 7200.11 drive.
I am pretty much ready to move from vista to win7 (data wise), and fortunately have time to do so today.
Mobo is an abit ip35 pro
I've never set up an array, but like the flexibility of a matrix raid setup, and want to initialize it on the 640GBs, leaving the 1.5TB as storage
1. How does this sound?
~80GB OS (raid0), ~200GB apps (raid0), and then a mixture of raid1 and 0 as I figure out more of what I want
I know I need to read/figure out more, but one question is:
Will the intel storage manager be used after I install the OS?
