This a good Power Supply?

They're decently solid, but only 18A on the +12V rail, from a 480W PSU? The Antec TruePower430 is $20 more but offers 20A on the +12V rail, so I will suggest that over the Thermaltake.

i don't know much about power supplies, what do all thos numbers mean?

if you have a higher amperage rating on a certain rail it will be able to handle more of a load.

i'd take a look at what Fortron/Sparkle has to offer. they make very solid PSUs as well.

that's all well and good. I have 15 Antec 430/480w units on my shelf (in the shop) should I choose to use one. I know the rail specifications alot of power supplies. I occasionally test/review other brands to see if they can hold up. lesser known brands. some do, some don't. this one may not hold up forever. but rails have been on target so far with little variance. you have to remember that there are some non-well known brands that are ok. 19a on the +12v will be fine. has been so far with an overloaded unit during an extreme overclock. time will tell.
