Anyone else feel like the game is dieing out? The raid was a big let down with no MM, and the fact the top guilds are doing it in 15-16mins kinda means its a joke now.
complaints about the mini-gunner. issues are to unlock his tank-based talents you need ammo, to get ammo you need multikills in one trigger pull - results = need to build for damage and not tankiness
3. From what I understood when we are hunting down the Outcasts' leader its a mission on Roosevelt island again. (I could have misinterpreted that)
For those that have hit Tier 5 and are burning out, my buddies and I started new toons (to keep another buddy - who is just starting out - company) and it was really fun playing a lowbie again. Good change of pace.
An interesting fun thing that happened to me / on my lowbie today.
For those of you that remember, there was a side mission to rescue another Division agent (NPC) and much to your surprise, you walk into a building, climb up and around an elevator shaft only to come to an empty office and see the missing agent's dead body strung up in the middle of the conference room. Then you get shocked / tased with no way to resist and pass out. A few seconds later you wake up - alive and unharmed - realizing you just met your first Hunter.
So today during my lowbie playthrough - as I was waiting for my buddies to get on - I get the same quest (about level 16 or so). As soon as I walk in the building, I remember the room from my main toon's playthrough (my current GS500 Tier 5 toon). So I put my L16 toon behind cover and shoot a spray from my LMG through the center of the room immediately followed by a few grenades.
Sure enough the hunter appears as a yellow staticky blob and we go into a game of cat and mouse as I run around the office, from cover to cover, alternately spraying LMG (tactical 249) and rifle (Mk 17) fire, grenades and even my flame turret. But he doesn't take a single lick of damage. Meanwhile he's tossing a combination of incendiary flame grenades, his own machine gun turret and a few shotgun blasts from his own gun.
Eventually I run out of armor kits and my chem launcher and surprise - die. I call for backup and some kind gent hops in and revives me and we continue the dance around the office, shooting to no effect. Eventually, almost like a cut scene - we both get tased and the screen goes all staticky. The hunter walks right up to me and looks me in the face (still looking like a big yellow blob of fuzzy pixels) before the screen cuts to black. The screen comes back a few seconds later - no more static - and the office is empty except for us two and the corpse of the Div agent we were sent to find. So cool!
strange, cause i cant remember doing this fight? That mission was the highlight of the game for me. On my first playthrough, I remember walking into that dimly-lit room thinking, "This is some old-school Resident Evil shit...", then hud starts going distorted and the hunter strolls out looking blacked-out like a shadow. I was lucky enough to pick up 2 LMGs and a sawed-off with fill-er up on a holster and thought, "Haha, it's your turn now fucker!". Nope, after unloading belt after belt, running cover to cover, and dodging for about 15 min, my character got caught rolling into a desk and the bastard zapped me. Still, haven't had that much fun in a game for a good bit.

The game is very good playing the story and leveling. it falls off a cliff at the end with mediocre RNG based gear, and nothing to do other than play the same content over and over. For people still on the fence, there is a free weekend going on for the game. https://support.ubi.com/en-US/Faqs/000043720/The-Division-2-Free-Weekend-June-2019?fallback=en_GB

Hopefully this changes with the next Title update. We will get new content and updates. The episodes coming are going to be good to keep it fresh. I agree, the gear grind is just terrible right now.I would just like to find a better LMG. I have had the same one since I hit WT5 and started getting 500 gear. been a month at least.
My biggest complaints are the same content week in week out and the gear really just is meh
Probably the crafting needs to be changed to give you 2 slots you can change/upgrade. And actually crafting from scratch is a total joke, unless they have seriously changed that. You had like 1 shot to get anything decent then back to the scrap pile.
Speaking just for myself although I've seen others agree:
This is where Destiny blows this game away for the most part. Inventory management as a whole. Clean, simple, and intuitive.
Crafting and inventory management is a chore in this for the most part.
I'm done with this game! I cleared a bunch of landmarks and griefers at the extraction zone stole all of my loot. Not a pleasant gameplay experience at all.
This is why i don't play alot of DZ......i hate that aspect....i had a contaminated 500 LMG from the DZ and got it taken. It's not cool.I'm done with this game! I cleared a bunch of landmarks and griefers at the extraction zone stole all of my loot. Not a pleasant gameplay experience at all.

or take a couple friends with you
If i ever get the desire to play this game again that is pretty much how I'd play. Try to kill the people in the DZ but not take their loot.I got lucky the other day, while I did get ganked by another player, he left my loot untouched so I managed to get 10 drops out of the DZ when I was done, now did I keep any of them, that's another discussion, but try to go on moments with less players online, and avoid the invaded zone (or whatever it's called) to maximise your chances fo getting someting out or take a couple friends with you.
They can take the loot you gathered while in the Dark Zone. They steal the stuff in your inventory hack or something?

I haven't bothered with it yet and I won't. I got burned forever on the first game with all that.

I'm just trying to get a Pestilence. Other than that, I have no interest. It seems like this is the answer. DZ is group play, you're looking for trouble if you solo.
