Today, my NewEgg shipment arrived, containing 1024 (2x512 MB) PC3200 Corsair XMS, and a Sapphire 9800 Pro. I merrily disconnect everything from my system, and swap out my current card for the new one, and the old Kingston PC2700 for the new RAM. I hook everything back up, hit the power button and...no display. Ok, unplug machine again, make sure 9800pro is seated, check again, nothing. Remove new card, put in old, no display again. Remove new RAM, leaving old vcard in, and put in old RAM, still no display.

In summary, all the fans are spinning, but no hard drives sound like they are, as whenever I shut down I hear that faint whistle of the HDs slowing to a stop, and since I lost display, I no longer do. I also have no display.

Machine (New Hardware in ()s)
Abit NF7-S v1.2
AMD XP 1900+
2x512 Kingston PC2700 (2x512 Corsair XMS PC3200)
GeForce 3 Ti-200 (Sapphire 9800 Pro)

Any and all help appreciated.

Clear CMOS, What did you have your memory settings at on the old RAM, did you reset them or set to SPD before installing the PC3200?

Regards, Szandor
