I always thought:
Laptop DDR = 200 pin
Laptop SD = 144 pin
Desktop DDR = 184 pin
Desktop SD = 168 pin
Looking at CompUSA's deal on their 512MB DDR PC2700 notebook RAM, I found something that confused me. It says 144pin.

"512MB PC2700 144 pin DDR SO-DIMM Memory Module"
Is that right?
Anyway, I bought one and it works one the laptop. It says 144 pin on the packaging as well.
I'm just curious.
