Stylizing Putty?

I was just curious if anyone knows a way to stylize Putty or an alternative to putty that you can stylize? I'm basically looking to be able to add an alpha transparency to the window etc like you can with a true terminal.
 
You might want to check out the official SSH client over at SSH .com. I use an older version just because I'm too lazy to upgrade and it supports lots of customization of the screen and display (highlighting for binaries, etc). However, I don't know if it supports transparency.
