Stock HS/F

I noticed that the stock HS/F that came with my AMD64 3000+ had some gray compound on the bottom. Should I remove it and put on some Arctic Silver or just leave that compound there.

I'd recommend a nice thin layer of some thermal grease in place of the TIM that's probably there, yes.

Yep I agree...scrape that wax pad shit off and get a real Thermal interface material...
