SSD with an Asus P5B-D MB...

I have an Asus P5B-D MB w/ 1237 bios. With this MB is it worth it for me to get an SSD? Will I get all the speed this SSD is capable of on this MB? And if not, is there an add-in card I could get to help?

P5B Deluxe? Why does the mobo and BIOS version affect whether or not you should get an SSD?

That mobo has SATA300, so it should be fine.
