Hello all !
Building a new machine using a Supermicro X8DTL-6F.
Still in the early stages and its going pretty slowly. Trying to nail down the reason as to why I hear six soft bleeps when the machine boots up.
These sounds are not the same as the nasty aggressive memory error sounds but softer and kinder bleeps.
I believe they are USB device related however I can find no such documented information on this.
I have a USB stick, USB Mouse and USB Keyboard plugged. However when I unplug I get less bleeps.
3 USB devices above seems to give 6 bleeps
2 USB devices above seems to give 4 bleeps
1 USB device above seems to give 2 bleeps
Any one got a similar experience ?
I am running the latest R2.1b bios version with defaults apart from AHCI for intel SATA controller.
