I'm building a 2U rackmount server and I need something small (Short, actually) with good cooling. Enough cooling to take this unlocked XP 1700+ to at least 2.0 GHz (My ALX-800 could do it). Any reccomendations?

Maybe this Socket A hsf's are a bit rare these days. Also are you using the ALX-800 right now or it is too tall for you needs

Nah - not enough room and not enough cash. Maybe when I upgrade the w/c rig in my main rig. I'll at least have a pump and a block then.

Boy, that one is tough. 1U heatsinks are noisy, small, and keep the processors within their specified temperature, but don't leave a lot of headroom for overclocking. I am not aware of any product currently sold that fits all of your specifications. Maybe someone else does?
