The info on Nvidia's site seems pretty old (like 8800GTX era).

Is it possible to hook up more than two monitors when running SLI?

I'm **not** interested in Nvidia Surround. I mean having each monitor separately and discretely identified to Windows as a non-primary monitor. Is this still impossible?

No, I don't think so. I've never tried it but I believe you have to enable surround to enable SLi.

Pretty sure you're right on it being outdated.

I ran primary + 2 extended displays with 560ti SLI and 660ti SLI.

I'm running four right now..

a 34" DP connection, a 29" DP Connection a 27" HDMI Connection, and a 19" DVI Connection.

As said above, you're only allowed to use the outputs on 1 card for sli. On my 680 that means the limit is 4 monitors since I only have 2 DVI ports, DP, and HDMI.

I have Tri-SLI w/ 3 DP monitors all connected to the main 980 and it works in Surround and also just normal extended desktop.
