Silverstone ST50EF-Plus (Element 500W) review posted

Just a quick question. On test 6 you pumped the 12V rails up to 100% yet lowered the 3.3V and 5V rails down to 3 and 4A giving the PSU a 380W load. Why not push the 3.3V and 5V rails harder to max out the PSU at 500W?

I know you're doing a crossload test in test 6, I'm just interested to see what the efficiency numbers look like under a full load where the 12V rail is carrying the bulk of the load as it would in a modern system.

another great silverstone psu. i have yet to see jonny give a performance score lower than a 9(performance) on any of their units. im glad i own the st60f.
 
Why didn't I? I guess because I was already there during test 5. 487.8's close enough for me. ;)
