Silver vs Gold?

On a silver account you can download all content from the Marketplace (though sometimes Gold members get them first). You can also see your friends. However, you need a Gold membership to play multiplayer games.
 
you can't play without paying? man that sucks, at least you get a year of it free i suppose with the premium packagae
 
it's well worth paying for......it's like $32 for a 13 month Gold prepaid card on fleabay, which comes out to like 12 cents a day or something......i dont care who you are, if you have a 360 to begin with, you have $32 for a years worth + 1 month of Gold service

the free Silver account isn't worth having really
 
could of sworn I read 12 month somewhere, hmm must of misread, I suppose the advantage is you don't become too attached :D
