Show Your LCD(s) setups!!!

I swapped my 20" iMac for a 27". Haven't decided on a DP card for my gaming pc yet, still running a 4890.

Just made some updates to my workstation @ work.
Went from this...

My external HDD was moved behind my mStand -- and I've upgraded to an iPod Touch as well.

Swapped out my Dell 2009W for my Dell 3007WFP-HC

Wow, why did you do that downgrade?

Why did I go from a setup that was giving me 17 avg fps in a dx9 only version of crysis with everything set to medium and high? Why did I go from a setup that was giving me 19 avg fps in my favorite flight sim on very low settings? Why did go from a setup that only offered laggy performance on the side screens? Why did I go from a setup that only allowed me to operate the side screens in a 16bit color version otherwise it was completely unplayable? Why did I go from a setup that did not support crossfire or multiple cards? Why did I go with a setup that only offered triple screening in limited applications with very poor quality results.

So I could play crysis at 45avg fps with everything set to very high. So I could play my favorite sim at 50 avg fps with everything set to very high. So I could play on a setup with matching refresh rates, resolution & color on all three monitors. So I could go with a setup that is properly supported and avoid all of the headaches that I was incuring. So I could go with a setup that offered many more triple screening options with excellent quality results.

That is why. Triple 20.1s in proper eyefinity blow my old system away.

Looks to me like your new setup would be much cleaner to use in general, thinner bezel gap/no size transition/etc. I did the 3x20 (loved) to 20x24x20 (hrm not quite right) to 3x24 (hard to get brightness and distance where I liked it due to pixel density) gave up and went to a single westy 42 a little farther away. It's all about finding a mix that you really can use comfortably. Grats on the new setup!

just got done snooping on craigslist creating my on slickdeals...

Sir_Poop_Alot, I'm happy to see someone in the English speaking world owns a Lian Li PC-V1110 and is willing to talk about it! Nice pictures (post 15053). After a LOT of research on cases I'm down to the Lian Li PC-B10 and the PC-V1110. By comparison, the B10 is cramped, lacks intake vents under the PSU and limits me to 4 internal 3.5 bays. But it's nearly impossible to find reviews or customer feedback on the PC-V1110. I ended up having to translate some German and Danish sites to see a review! [LOL] Seems like such a nice case should have gotten more attention. Are you still happy with yours? Is it quiet?

SBB,

What mouse pad is that? .... and what do you think of it.

Thanks.

It's a boogie bug XL pad, I bought it off ebay for £18. It's great, just as good as any of the more well known brands of cloth mat. Great for covering up a desk with an annoying surface like mine.

Not sure if this counts but here is my workout room setup (the little table is a temporary thing until my articulating keyboard tray arrives) :

haha. what is necessary is never enough.

Updated mine, added a 46 inch Sony LCD for games and moved the 32 inch to the workout room, still have the 20-30-20 setup and hoping that ATI will allow different resolutions for eyefinity :( DAMN YOU ATI! and loving my macbook pro.

yes, those are ugg slippers on the floor in the second pic. I always made fun of people, including my girlfriend, for wearing them. Then she bought me a pair. Now I am one of the gay ones. I suggest you try them out for yourself. They never leave my feet on this cold tile floor in the morning. It's like walking on heaven.

Wow I like the pad. I currently use a Razer Goliathus and have previously used a Supermat. I thought these were big...I might have to grab one of those.

Thats a really nice setup. Not normally a fan of built in desks, etc but it looks really slick.

WHAT?!

You're saying that Eyefinity doesn't support 20-30-20?!
