setup a Left 4 Dead/Steam game server?

guys, my google-fu fails me....

i want to setup a dedicated linux server for left 4 dead matches.... but have no freaking clue where to really start.

i found a basic guide here

and was able to get a basic server up... but does anyone know where a more complete setup/customization guide might be found?

anyone here ever setup a server on their own? any advice on where to learn?

i've setup other linux servers b4 (UT2004 and Quake 3 ) so i'm not a noob... but the finer details of Steam/Left 4 Dead escape me....

anyone know?
