Service and Repair (RMA) Tracking Software

I manage a service and repair department and require a more efficient way to track repairs and automatically generate reports. This has been done through Excel for years in this department and this creates many obvious issues with repair reporting and trending. As in, creating a 30-60-90 day failure report for a specific commodity can be very tedious.

Does anyone have any experience with repair tracking software?

Still looking for some advice.

I would love to hear what applications are used by individuals that currently work in a repair depot type facility.

I'm afraid my only feasible option is to build a utility in Access but I do not have the time to devote to that sort of project unless absolutely necessary.
