Too much power for single GPU, almost not enough for dual GPU.
I can see why it's on sale.

Is Seasonic ending their X-series PSU's or what? Because the 660XP is just gone from a lot of places.

What are you talking about? It will run two of any non dual GPU vid cards out there. I've run dual 480s plus a 460 for physx with a Bulldozer all fully oced off a 750w corsair no problem. This PSU is much better then that as well.

I did say "almost not enough".
You're looking at an extra +20W (minimum) for the 780.
That puts you flat at ~700W in a barebones rig.

The 290/290x, Ti, and any GPU overclocking will increase that significantly.

Seeing as how it's a quality unit and probably can handle more than the advertised rating, I'm sure everything would work. But why cut it so close?
