Searching for posts by user instead brings up threads started by user

well I'm looking for a soapbox thread to update that was not started by me but I have posted in. Can't remember enough about thread title for search except 3 letter works like gun, so I get error "array" on that. Next searching for threads I've posted in instead only brings up threads I've started.
