SCA adapters?

Any problems with them? Possible to use them in higher speeds than official rated speed? Cheap ones on ebay.

whenever you use an adapter, that's a point in the chain where interference and signal noise can leak in. that said, they should work at u320 given they aren't too shoddly made
 
I have them on 2 of my drives and they work fine.
These are older 18gig drives, one Seagate 7200rpm and one Fugitsu 10K rpm.
 
just make sure you buy ones that say they will work with U160 speeds... buying cheap adapters bites you in the ass when you go to hook up your drives, and they end up running in only Ultra wide mode.. ;)
 
Ouch, real Ultra 160 rated ones are expensive...on ebay I see the cheap ones labeled to work with Ultra 160 speeds by the seller.
 
you can find them for like $25 bucks.. do a search on google, and you should find a place that has them..
