I am trying to use runasdate with internet explorer 8 on XP system but cant seem to get it to work. There is an expired certificate and I am trying this to avoid having to select continue to the site. There is a program that opens IE and uses it to display info. I thought if I rename runasdate to iexplore.exe and rename iexplore.exe to iexplore1.exe. Set runasdate to open iexplore1.exe with a set date that it would work but IE doesnt open. Runasdate opens instead. When I click Run IE still dont open. When I set runasdate to open iexplorer.exe it opens fine. Just wont open with a changed filename. I had to go into safe mode to rename IE as it would just make copies otherwise.
Anyone got any other ideas or is there some parameter I need to add like /silent?
