remove and reseat 8800GTS 512MB fan / heatsink

For any 8800GTS 512MB owners out there, do you see much performance gain if you take off the fan / heatsink piece and mount it back on after cleaning it and also applying some Arctic Silver 5? Who has done it, and how much of a hassle was it?

Also, what other fans / coolers will work on this card?

I did this over the weekend as a matter of fact. Temps dropped a few degrees but not too much. They actually did a pretty decent job on the TIM for the GTS this time around.

this this and my temp drop from 63c to 50ish on idle and stock fan. then set my fan speed to 60% and now my temp is 41c on idle. not really sure if it help OC the card though.
