Reformatting XP

Can anyone help me out on wiping out my hdd? Or give me a good link. I"ve googled, but I only seem to come up w/ win98/me tutorials. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you want to just wipe the entire drive and reinstall XP?


I believe you can just slap the XP disk in, and during the install setup it will ask you if you want to format the drive.


If not, just go to www.bootdisk.com, download a Win98 custom bootdisk, then run fdisk c:/


That'll format and erase the C drive, which XP is on.. unless you installed it elsewhere that is.

Then you can do what you wish.

Boot from CD and follow menus, just tell it to format using NTFS.
